Did you not forget to get your Wallprim? In most cases, our Wallprim
is necessary for proper adhesion! Fresco lime-paint is a 100% mineral product
and does not adhere well to synthetic surfaces like for example drywall,
sheet-rock, regular paint-coats, and random primers.
The final finish of Fresco lime paint is matte, with unique shades and strokes, and the subtle texture of brush strokes. Our Fresco brush, made of polyester fiber bristle, provides a reliable and delicate texture. For high-traffic or high-moisture areas, we recommend finishing with Dead Flat Eco Sealer. The sealer will give protection and is easily cleanable. Although the sealant is clear, it will deepen the color.
Please note that Lime Paint, in general, appears slightly lighter than the colors on the color chart (chalk-based paint). Please consult “product information” or customer service for additional technical information and application advice.
