Founded in 2006 by Erwin Floor, it all began with a dream—to create a home that exudes the timeless elegance of Belgian countryside architecture. Inspired by the captivating interplay of intense dark hues, soft textures, and enchanting shades of grey, Erwin embarked on a quest to embody this aesthetic.
His journey led him to a family-run factory in Belgium, where the artistry of crafting natural paint was a time-honored tradition. Recognizing the potential to share this exquisite paint beyond his personal projects, Pure & Original was born.
Today, Pure & Original paint remains proudly rooted in that very same Belgian factory, boasting over 70 years of unparalleled expertise. With a presence in more than 15 countries, our commitment to authentic craftsmanship endures. Each stroke of paint embodies the essence of timeless beauty.
