With sufficient burnishing, Marrakech Walls can achieve a high-gloss tadelakt-like surface, but it uses a different formulation and process. Although a second layer is possible, it is a single coat procedure.

The application process (how the trowel is used after the initial coat) determines the final look.

Yes, with sealing. In low-moisture bathrooms and powder rooms it can be used with minimal sealing. In areas with direct water contact, steam, or regular splashing, a compatible sealer or protective topcoat is required. Without sealing, moisture will degrade the finish over time. It’s not recommended for the interior of a shower cabin.

It can be applied to painted walls, newly plastered walls, non-woven wallpaper, lime and concrete plaster, aerated concrete, suction mineral stones, drywall, plaster blocks, wood, and other mineral surfaces. Synthetic substrates (incl synthetic paint and primer), unpainted or highly porous surfaces should be primed with Wallprim first.
